Faced to the phenomenon of abandoning certain ancient buildings, and the outcry provoked by the debate of either the demolition or conservation of the Redpath Mansion in Montreal, iSCAN ‘s team decided to invest time to survey 3 sites in Montreal.

The Redpath Mansion, the Louis H Lafontaine house and the old Craig pumping station have all been abandoned for years, yet the 3 monuments reflect the nineteenth century architecture in Montreal.

These precise, up to scale, and visually realistic data will help in showcasing or in the transformations of these sites. Regardless of what happens to these buildings, 3D scanning ensures that a high precision copy of these sites to remains.
